Artisan Christmas Gift Fair 2015
Event
Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th November
For one weekend only the Canterbury Tales will be opening its doors free for all guests to come and enjoy our Artisan Christmas Fair. Building on the success of last year, this is a totally unique experience for your visit to the Canterbury Tales.
Inside our historic 12th Century church you will not only find our lively costumed characters to welcome you, but also an array of different artisan stalls to browse at your leisure. It’s time to start (if you haven’t already) your Christmas gift shopping as you step back in time to medieval England to browse our various stalls which include yarning and knitting, wooden goods, Kent chillies, preserves from Farmhouse Kitchen and much more!
The Artisan Fair will be open from 10.30am to 4.30pm on the 28th and 29th of November, we look forward to welcoming you to our medieval fair! Souvenirs were as popular then as nowadays, with badges made of tin, lead or pewter were sold as a visible sign of a pilgrims journey. Why not take your own pilgrimage to the Canterbury Tales and see what trinkets you find…
N.B. Please note - The Canterbury Tales visitor attraction will only be operational as the Gift Fair on 28/29 November. It will not be possible to take the usual tour.
