Opening Times
The following prices are valid for pre-booked groups of 15 or more people until 31/01/2020
April-August: 10.00am – 5.00pm daily
September-October: 10.00am – 4.00pm daily
November-March: 10.00am – 4.00pm Weds-Sun
The Canterbury Tales is open daily during school holidays, excluding Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Boxing Day.
If we are closed on your chosen date, please do get in touch as we are often able to open specially for groups.

Our group bookings office is open Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm.
Any access needs in a group are required in advance. Due to the nature of the attraction we can only accommodate one wheelchair user at a time and need to organise groups accordingly. If access needs for large groups are not taken in advance we may not be able to accommodate for your needs. For more information on our accessibility please see here.

Payment Options
The Canterbury Tales accepts cash and cheques (in sterling), Switch, Mastercard and Visa. For regular customers, payment can be made direct via BACS if arrangements are made in advance. Cheques should be made payable to Heritage Projects (Canterbury) Limited. Credit and voucher facilities are only accepted when a written agreements is established in advance of your visit. Full pre-payment must be made at least 7 days in advance of your visit.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and amendments must be made at least 48 hours in advance of your arrival time.
The Canterbury Tales reserve the right to charge for any amendments or cancellation made within the 48 hours period prior to arrival.
Coach Parking
Canterbury coach park is about 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Our costumed characters are happy to meet groups there, or at a pre-arranged place in the city centre – please ask at the time of booking as this service is subject to availability. There are also drop-off spaces available in the city centre.
