Within ‘The Canterbury Tales’ Visitor Attraction, Chaucer’s most popular and colourful characters and stories are vividly brought to life. Exciting opportunities are currently available to join our fun, engaging team.
We are seeking enthusiastic performers and dramatic enthusiasts to create a unique, immersive experience of Chaucer’s ‘Canterbury Tales’. The role will also encompass admissions and retail work therefore; experience in these areas is desirable.
Wearing full costume, the successful applicants will perform a scripted guiding role to a live audience. Other duties will include front of house responsibilities, street promotions and performing at events. Knowledge of Chaucer and his works is an essential element of the role.
Providing our guests with world class customer service, you will ensure every visitor leaves with lasting memories. You will have previous experience working in a customer service environment - preferably in the tourism sector, with cash handling experience.
These are seasonal positions and successful applicants must be available to work during school holidays, peak periods and weekends. Occasional evening work will also be required.
