The Canterbury Tales is open daily during school holidays, excluding Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Boxing Day.
If we are closed on your chosen date, please do get in touch as we are often able to open specially for groups.
(Prices based on 15 or more paying guests).

Our group bookings office is open Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm.
Any access needs in a group are required in advance. Due to the nature of the attraction we can only accommodate one wheelchair user at a time and need to organise groups accordingly. If access needs for large groups are not taken in advance we may not be able to accommodate for your needs. For more information on our accessibility please see here.

The Canterbury Tales accepts cash and cheques (in sterling), Switch, Mastercard and Visa. For regular customers, payment can be made direct via BACS if arrangements are made in advance. Cheques should be made payable to Heritage Projects (Canterbury) Limited. Credit and voucher facilities are only accepted when a written agreements is established in advance of your visit.
Notice of cancellations must be given 7 days in advance, otherwise we reserve the right to impose an administration fee of 25% of the total amount of your reserved booking. Some joint packages may have different cancellation terms – please ask at the time of booking.
Canterbury coach park is about 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Our costumed characters are happy to meet groups there, or at a pre-arranged place in the city centre – please ask at the time of booking as this service is subject to availability. There are also drop-off spaces available in the city centre.
If you are only visiting the attraction, we recommend you allow 1 hour for your visit. Duration of special packages and joint tickets will vary – see the page for more details.
