How long should I allow for my visit?
We recommend that you allow at least one hour for your visit.

When is it open?
The Canterbury Tales opens every day except Christmas Day.

Is it accessible for the disabled?
Yes. We have ramps, lifts and adapted toilets and can make special arrangements
for the hard of hearing or partially sighted.

Where is it?
The Canterbury Tales is situated in St. Margaret’s Church on St. Margaret’s Street
just off the High Street and only two minutes’ walk from Canterbury Cathedral.

Can I take photographs?
No – for the consideration of other visitors, we do not permit the use of cameras
or camcorders during our tours.

Who owns it?
The Canterbury Tales is owned and managed by Heritage, the industry leader in
the operation of tourism, heritage and visitor attraction venues.

Is there a gift shop?
Yes - our gift shop sells a range of Canterbury merchandise as well as souvenirs for all ages.

Is there a café?
Refreshments are available in the adjacent Nason’s restaurant at the end of the attraction.

Where is the nearest car park?
There are two car parks on Castle Street, just five minutes’ walk from The Canterbury Tales.
The short stay Castle Street MSCP offers parking for up to five hours and the Castle Row
car park has parking for up to 24 hours.
