Half Term Family Fun Quiz Trail
Set out on Chaucer's pilgrimage at the Canterbury Tales and seek out a number of hidden items which would be used by modern day Pilgrims. There are 10 to collect ranging from OS map to a Mars Bar, all modern day tools and accessories the 21st century pilgrim would use if making a similar journey. All those who successfully find ten will enter a raffle for a star prize which includes tickets to a whole host of other tourist attractions - so the winner can take part in their very own mini pilgrimage around Kent!
Medieval Market

Medieval Market
Craftsmen and women will demonstrate a range of medieval skills including pottery, bow making and calligraphy with the chance to have a go and make that special purchase. Final judging of ‘The Face of The Canterbury Tales’ will take place on market day.

Archery School
It was decreed in early medieval England that every man and boy should practise with the longbow during his free time on pain of death! Now is your chance to become a Norman invader or an Agincourt archer, anyone from 7 to 107 can join our specially trained instructors in a safe and friendly environment.
Knight School
Wednesday 11th and 25th August 2010
Knight School
A master class in medieval swordsmanship. Combat demonstrations between the Knight and his unarmed squire, the myths and realities of medieval armour. Enrol to Knight School and learn how to use a sword with expert and knowledgeable tuition.
Tickets will be available on the day for those just wishing to visit the event.
